When you’re planning your wedding, you’re not just choosing a venue or a dress—you’re crafting a celebration of love that’s as unique as you are. As a Long Beach wedding photographer, I specialize in capturing bold, offbeat, and inclusive love stories that deserve to be told in all their raw, real, and beautiful glory.
Whether you’re a plus-size couple, part of the LGBTQ+ community, or simply two people who don’t fit the mold of a magazine cover, I’m here for you. My photography style is bold, true-to-life, and unapologetically bitchin’. Think of it as looking through a window at real life, where love takes center stage.
From the shores of Hotel Maya to the historic charm of Rancho Los Cerritos, Long Beach is home to some incredible wedding venues—and I’ve been lucky enough to photograph couples in love at them all.
Your love is one-of-a-kind, and your wedding photos should be too. I believe every couple deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and cherished.
From joyful, plus-size couples to fierce LGBTQ+ pairings, I’m passionate about photographing love stories that don’t conform to outdated, cookie-cutter ideas of what weddings “should” look like. Your wedding day is about you, and that means honoring your authenticity in every photo.
Long Beach is one of my favorite places to photograph weddings, thanks to its diverse venues that offer something for every couple. Whether you’re dreaming of an outdoor ceremony under the California sun, a waterfront reception, or an intimate gathering in a historic space, there’s a venue here that’s perfect for your vision.
Here are some of my favorite Long Beach wedding venues where I’ve captured unforgettable moments:
This stunning venue combines modern elegance with timeless charm. Its sleek architecture and spacious interiors make it the perfect setting for bold, creative couples to celebrate in style. This couple had a classic, timeless wedding in Long Beach. This old chapel makes the perfect setting for a classic ceremony and the rest of their venue makes a quaint and beautiful wedding.
For couples looking for an intimate and urban vibe, The Altar offers a unique, artsy space that’s perfect for offbeat and alternative weddings. Located in Downtown Long Beach, you have easy walkability to nearby bars like Shannons, to sneak away for a drink away from your guests. This offbeat, alternative plus size couple was what dreams were made of. Their love was SO evident in every time they looked at each other. Their gothic details fit the details of The Altar in Long Beach perfectly.
If you’re all about waterfront vibes, the Long Beach Yacht Club offers a stunning backdrop for your ceremony and reception. It’s the perfect venue for couples who love timeless elegance with a nautical twist. Weddings are not defined by age, and should be celebrated at every stage of life. This older couple fell in love over their combined love of music. So they danced the night away together at the Long Beach Yacht Club.
With breathtaking views of the Long Beach skyline and harbor, The Reef is ideal for couples who want a mix of sophistication and romance on their big day. You’ll have perfect views of the Queen Mary directly from The Reef.
This venue brings vibrant, resort-style energy to your wedding day. Hotel Maya’s lush landscaping and waterfront views are perfect for couples who want their wedding to feel like a celebration and a getaway. The pathway surrounding Hotel Maya gives you perfect views of the Queen Mary and the Downtown Long Beach skyline.
History buffs and nature lovers, this one’s for you. Rancho Los Cerritos combines rustic charm with rich history, making it an amazing setting for couples who want a laid-back yet stunning venue in Long Beach. This couple signed their Ketubah underneath the giant trees in the backyard of this gorgeous SoCal venue.
Just outside Long Beach, The Centre Lakewood offers a versatile space with modern touches, making it perfect for couples who want their wedding to be uniquely theirs. This early 2000’s themed wedding with neon colors, air brushed merch, arcade games, mixtapes, and ice cream truck was SO much fun and SO on brand with who this couple was. Weddings should be exactly who YOU are and nothing else.
My photography style isn’t about forced poses or cookie-cutter filters—it’s about capturing you. I create images that are bold, true-to-life, and timeless, so when you look back at your photos years from now, they’ll feel just as real as the day they were taken.
Your laughter, your tears, the way your partner looks at you—those are the moments I live to capture. My goal is for you to see your photos and feel like you’re looking through a window at the most incredible day of your life.
Whether you’re planning a wedding at The Sanctuary by Wedgewood or dancing the night away at The Reef, I’m here to tell your love story with authenticity and artistry. If you’re a bold, alternative couple in Long Beach or the greater SoCal area, I’d love to connect and help you create timeless memories.
