“17-Mile Drive is a scenic road through Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula in California, much of which hugs the Pacific coastline and passes famous golf courses, mansions and scenic attractions, including the Lone Cypress, Bird Rock and the 5,300-acre Del Monte Forest of Monterey Cypress trees.”

If you’ve never driven the 17-Mile drive, then you are seriously missing out. There is just over 20 different stops, with each one being so unique and classic to California. When I was talking to Karlene and Bryan about their engagement session, we all fell in love with the idea of driving it together and stopping when we saw a spot that we loved. So a few hours and a whole lot of stops later, we got some incredible engagement photos for them that stayed true to my lifestyle approach. They laughed, ran, spun around, held each other, and made real memories. We got to know each other more and just spend a day hanging out at one of California’s most gorgeous spots. It was truly a beautiful day, and just made me even more excited to photograph their wedding at Kirigin Cellars later this year.
