Your wedding photographer is the most personal vendor you book. I’m there when you put on your dress, when you see each other for the first time, and by your side all day. You allow me into this vulnerable space surrounded by your favorite people, and I don’t take that lightly. So let’s do the damn thing and make it the best day of your life, while I photograph all the good shit for you to look back on for years to come.

how many hours is standard?
You don't have to follow what is "standard" just like you don't have to do a bouquet or garter toss if you don't want to. Often times you'll hear the magic number is 8 hours + a second shooter. And I can't tell you the last time I photographed an 8 hour wedding with a 2nd photographer. My sweet spot is 6 hours. Fill out my contact form and we can talk more about why I think this.
What is your style?
In the photography world, there is a lot of trends, just like you'll see in fashion and hair styles. I really try to avoid those at all costs. My photography style can be described as bold and true to life. I want you to look back on your photos and feel like you're looking through a window, reliving the day as it was - not how your photographer's editing style was that year. My goal isn't to be on the cover of some wedding magazine, it's to give you the best damn photos you've ever had in your family photo album. These photos are for YOU, not for me.
Can I see a full gallery?
YES! Absolutely. And I encourage you to ask every photographer you inquire with this question. If you scroll down on this page you will see mini galleries of weddings. When you fill out an inquiry form and we setup our consult, I can send you as many full galleries as you want! I often will try to pull galleries that may fit the wedding aesthetic you're having, like location or style.
FAQ's quickly answered
While photographing my client's weddings this past year, I realized I was taking a lot of behind the scenes video on my phone. While I was able to use it for my own social media, the joy my client's had when they received a variety of small video snippets throughout their wedding day was priceless.
So often it's just me and the couple during the first look, or during their couple portraits. So by taking these videos, you're able to relive a moment no one else saw, or have that social media post for the next day celebrating your marriage. It's a fun little addition to your day that you get right away.

SO WHAT'S WITH THE POLAROIDS?
I know we all have seen an old photo of our parents wedding day, or our grandparents as a young child, and there is something so beautiful about seeing those past memories preserved in such a real way. So I take that mindset with me to each wedding day, to document every wedding authentically and beautifully for generations to cherish years to come.
